Ways to give a legacy
Gift in your will
A simple bequest in your will — fixed amount, percentage, or residual share — directs a portion of your estate to the Foundation. We can supply suggested wording for your solicitor.
Stocks & securities
Gifting appreciated shares is often more tax-efficient than selling them and donating cash. We accept publicly traded stock, mutual fund shares, and ETFs.
Real estate & property
A primary residence, holiday home, or commercial property can be gifted outright or as a remainder interest while you continue to live in it.
Retirement assets
Naming the Foundation as a beneficiary on a SIPP, ISA, IRA, or 401(k) avoids most income and estate taxes — letting more of your savings reach the people we serve.
Life insurance
You can name the Foundation as primary, contingent, or partial beneficiary on a new or existing life insurance policy — at any time, with no fee.
Donor Advised Funds
If you have a DAF with Vanguard Charitable, Fidelity Charitable, or another sponsor, we can be named as a current or successor beneficiary in seconds.
Sample wording for your will
"I give to The Adam Demos Foundation (Charity No. 1234567), of 123 Foundation Way, London, EC1A 1BB, [the sum of £____ / ___% of my residuary estate / the residue of my estate] absolutely for its general charitable purposes, and I declare that the receipt of the Foundation's authorised officer shall be sufficient discharge to my executors."

The Founders' Circle
Supporters who have made the Foundation part of their legacy join the Founders' Circle. Members receive private programme briefings, an annual founders' dinner, and a named recognition opportunity if desired (anonymous gifts are equally welcome).
You are under no obligation to disclose the gift — but if you do let us know, we can thank you, brief you on the work it will fund, and steward the relationship with the seriousness a legacy deserves.
