92% of every donation goes directly to programme work — shelters, therapy, accessible classrooms, communication devices, scholarship tuition, and the local advocates running it all. The remaining 8% covers auditing, security, IT, and our small core team. We publish a full breakdown every year — see Reports & Financials.
Yes. We are a registered UK charity (No. 1234567) and all UK donations qualify for Gift Aid. US donors give through our 501(c)(3) partner, the ADF America Fund. We email a receipt for every donation, and an annual statement at year-end.

Our 24/7 crisis line — 0800-SAFE-NOW — is staffed by trained survivor-advocates. Calls are confidential and free. If you're in immediate danger, please call your local emergency services first. You can also text "SAFE" to 85258, or use our contact form for non-urgent enquiries.
Our family liaison team will walk you through the closest partner school, assistive-device clinic, or in-home therapist on our network — usually within five working days. Reach out via the contact form or email families@adamdemosfoundation.org. There is never a fee.
All programmes are free to participants — survivors, families, and children. We don't ask for proof of immigration status, marital status, or income to access crisis services. Some programmes (scholarships, business grants) have application processes, but no fees.
Scholarship applications open every January and run through March. We prioritise survivors returning to study, the children of survivors, and exceptional students from underserved communities. Applicants need a personal statement and one reference — no fees, no exam scores required.
It's a 12-month programme: stabilisation, business training (12 weeks, evenings, with childcare), seed grant up to £8,000 (non-repayable), and 24 months of mentorship. See the full programme page for cohort dates and how to apply.

Yes, with a vetting process. We welcome volunteers for mentoring (especially women founders for our Women in Business cohort), tutoring, events, fundraising, and on-site advocacy. All volunteer roles include training, a DBS check, and ongoing supervision. Email volunteer@adamdemosfoundation.org.
A free account lets you track every donation, watch your funded projects progress on a live world map, run a fundraiser of your own, and download tax receipts year-round. We don't email you unless you opt in. Create one in 30 seconds.
We never sell or share your data with third parties. Donor data is encrypted and protected under UK GDPR. You control your communication preferences from your settings, and you can request full data export or deletion any time at privacy@adamdemosfoundation.org.

We partner with corporations, local authorities, NHS trusts, schools, and frontline NGOs whose missions overlap with ours. Partnerships range from co-funding and pro-bono services to staff secondments and joint research. See Partners or email partnerships@adamdemosfoundation.org.
Yes — and you should. Our Frontline Partners Fund makes 6-month and 24-month grants ranging from £5,000 to £150,000 to grassroots organisations led by survivors and the communities they serve. Applications open twice yearly. Get on the alerts list at frontline@adamdemosfoundation.org.
